Sports & recreation

There’s no doubt about it, the seaside is and will always be the place people think of when it comes to having fun in the water, whether it’s just about getting their feet wet, really going swimming, riding the waves or getting into a proper boat.Well, the Belgian Coast has it all.

Beach clubs

The Belgian Coast offers lots of opportunities to enjoy the sand and sea and get active, with every community its own cool beach club for kite, wind & golf surfing; stand-up paddle boarding; (speed) sailing; kayaking; rafting; water skiing, buggy kiting and lots more.

But beach clubs are more than just water sports alone, as many of them have been given a makeover in the past few years to turn them into the place to be all year round for all of us who love sand and sea. Those who are into their water sports will still feel at home in them, of course, but so will people who prefer to look on and soak up the atmosphere from the cosy terrace.

So are you dying to get some of that beach fun, then?

Along the seafront

Beach clubs are one thing, but you can also enjoy the beach life from one of the many (beach) terraces or, why not, from the seafront... It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll, brisk cycle ride or bumpy trip in a pedal car.
