Blankenberge Heritage walking route
In the course of the 19th century, Blankenberge developed from a modest fishing village into a fashionable seaside town. This walking route starts in the Elisabethstraat and leads along the fairly well-preserved holiday homes for wealthy citizens. It is the only seaside town in Belgium where the façades of the buildings include numerous tile pictures. In addition, the port reflects the rich maritime past of one of the most lively seaside towns on our coast.
