If you are both a landlubber and a water rat and want to know everything about the port of Zeebrugge, then the visit by bus and boat is just the thing for you! A guide fills you in on every little detail and tells you about the day-to-day functioning of the harbour.
The bus leaves every Tuesday in July and August at 1.45 p.m. from the parking on the corner of Tijdokstraat with Vismijnstraat (entrance Theme Park Seafront). Tickets according to availability. Registration in advance required at te Tourist Office (Zeedijk).

If you are looking for surprising fauna and flora, you've come to the right place in De Fonteintjes (The Fountains). This unique nature and walking area stretches from Blankenberge to Zeebrugge. The beautiful dune landscape boasts rich vegetation including various rare types of plants and numerous splendid orchids, and is the favourite breeding place of almost 120 species of birds. Informative signs in various languages guide the visitor through this charming nature reserve with the four 'fonteintjes' (fountains) or ponds.
A visit of the international port of Zeebrugge is more than worthwhile. During the trip on the 'Zephira' the guide explains how the port daily works: from the old fishing port to the container harbour, the only Belgian naval base, the world’s largest lock, the sea embankments, the LNG terminal, the wind energy park and the ferries. The boat trip in the harbour takes 75 minutes.
